Use condoms.
The word needs to be shouted from more roof tops more often so that more people use condoms for safer sex and the reduction of sexually transmitted diseases.
What better way to help the cause than to get Hollywood involved. And who better to front the ad campaign than mega superstar Johnny Depp, star of Pirates of the Carribean movies, among many others.
Reports were flying about recently that condom company Trojan was dangling a $10 million deal in front of Depp to get him to appear in their upcoming ad campaign for the promotion of the company’s new Magnum-brand of condoms. Sources claim the condom executives already have a slogan ready to “rip and roll” (so to speak!): “Stand up with Johnny for safer sex.”
Other reports from the Depp camp deny the notion that he’s considering such an offer.
Okay, fine. If not Johnny Depp, then some other Hollywood big wig needs to step up to the plate, a polarizing figure who will make people listen and then take action: Use condoms.
We’ll have to wait and see I guess. Will there be condom ads with Johnny Depp or some other major Hollywood star? Stay tuned…
